Ironman Party Food

iron man platesCatering an Iron Man party is easy, thanks to Tony Stark’s love of pizza. A make-your-own pizza bar is a great choice that lets fussy kids pick their own toppings. Set out stacks of mini pizza crusts covered in tomato paste, or use English muffins or pita shells if you prefer. Put out bowls of grated mozzarella, pepperoni, pineapple, ham slices, green peppers, olives, mushrooms, and anything else you think the kids will like, and let them build their own pizza creations.

Add some individual bags of “nuts and bolts” mix in honor of Iron Man’s metal workshop. Decorate the individual bags with nuts and bolts stickers or robot stickers.

Create an Iron Man fruit tray by arranging red and yellow cubed fruit in the shape of Iron Man’s helmet. Use pineapple and papaya for the yellow fruits, and strawberries, raspberries and cherries for the red fruit. Serve Arc Reactor floats to the thirsty crew. Fill a glass with 7-Up or Sprite, and top with a small scoop of lime sherbet. Activate a glow stick and drop it in the glass to create a glowing, fizzing drink.

Remember, when putting together an Ironman party you’ll want to ensure you have some Ironman tableware including plates, napkins, cups, etc.. This definitely isn’t necessary but puts a nice touch on the table decorations.
