Strawberry Shortcake Birthday Party Invitations

There are some ready made, Strawberry Shortcake themed invitations available from several on-line sites. We recommend the ones on Celebrate Express here which are high quality and look fantastic. You may be able to find some theme invitations at a local store, or some fruit/ dessert style ones also. Another option is to make your own. We have a few homemade Strawberry Shortcake invitation ideas below.

Hat Shaped Invitations
Take some coloured cardstock paper in a pink or citrus colour, and cut out a Hat shape. Decorate the hat with sequins, stickers, glitter, crayons, whatever is pretty and fun! Make sure to include all of the pertinent information on the back of the card! You could also cut out a strawberry shape out of magenta or red cardstock, and using some glitter glue, draw some “seeds” randomly on the fruit shape, and cut and paste some green leaves for the top of the strawberry.

Computer-based invitations
Another idea is to download a picture of Strawberry Shortcake, or any other character that is a favourite, and print off as many as needed for invitations. Make sure you print them out in a size suitable for an invitation. Carefully cut out the actual face part of the character, and then place a suitable sized photo of the birthday child’s face in its place. Now your child can look like Strawberry Shortcake! Write all of the party information on the back of the invitation.

Use a Strawberry Stamp
To create a fun, strawberry scented print on your invitation you can actually use REAL strawberries. Simply find an overripe strawberry and press it into the paper. You can also cut it in half to get a half-strawberry print. This is a great activity to do with your kids while making the invitations!

Of course, when creating the stationary for your invitations don’t forget the thank-you cards too. You can purchase pre-made thank-you cards or create your own. Either way we recommend doing it all at once and filling in the details later as this will inevitably save you time!
